One-Day Seminar (revised content for 2009)
A Very Real Seminar, for a Very Real World,
by a photographer who is out there doing it day in, day out.
In various locations in Australia, New Zealand, The United States and the United Kingdom. See events and booking pages for prices in local currencies.
You won't learn how to take better pictures, and there won't be a photoshop action to be seen, but you will learn how in just 4 days per week, 40 weeks per year, Tero Sade personally photographs and generates over $500,000 in portrait sales in one of the poorest communities in Australia.
Find out how by implementing his very simple marketing systems, you too will be able to predict and control both your work and cash flows.
What would it mean to you if you could gain control of your portrait business?
Tero is a three times Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, 2007 Bridal Party Winner at the WPPI Awards in Las Vegas, and runner up in the 2007 Buzz Direct Marketing Awards in the United States.
You will be astonished how effective and fine tuned Tero's marketing is and how simple the systems are. Systems that will work in any size market, at any level of the market and anywhere in the world.
So how does he do it?
In this seminar Tero will take you on a 23-year journey, talking about some of the mistakes he made and the lessons learnt from those mistakes. He will talk about his simple philosophies on business and marketing along with his philosophy of where business fits into lifestyle.
Tero will also talk about his systemised marketing and how he forecasts his cash flow and controls his workflow. He will explain the steps in putting together a successful Third Party Promotion, what to do, what not to do and why. All will be revealed ... Nothing will be held back!
"Wow, what a great seminar.
I've attended many, many seminars in the 25+ years I've been around, and Tero's is among the top three. The other two were multi-day affairs for 4 times the cost. I took the first day of my vacation to attend and I'll be spending some of the remaining days developing plans for implementing many of the ideas I received, and in reviewing the DVD's I bought".
Walt B, Seattle USA
“Just a short email to say what an incredibly positive impact your seminar and DVD's have already made to my business.
I am taking the "small steps" that you suggested to increase my bottom line but more importantly, your seminar helped me to realize my personal goals as an individual. (Something I hadn't given much thought to in many years).
You are the finest seminar speaker I have ever witnessed in the twenty years I have been involved with professional photography so thanks again for paving a path for us to follow.
Scott Wall, San Francisco USA
This is what Marcus Bell had to say after attending Tero's seminar ...
"In his seminar, Tero reveals the secrets learnt over 20 years of experience, to give you the best portrait information around today. By the end of the day you can go away and build the portrait business of your dreams. Real information that you will be able to apply straight away!"
and from Jerry Ghionis ...
"Tero is definitely worth seeing. You will learn as much from his failures as his successes. He has been around the block more than most. Tero is living testimony that you can market portraits to anyone, anywhere....

With numbers limited to smaller groups, Tero will spend time covering topics such as
- Business Planning, what is it that you want out of your business, and how do you achieve it!
- Understanding the Portrait Market, What is our product and how do we attract clients to our studio. This will include analysing many of Tero's successful promotions and what were the elements that made them more successful.
- In addition to other marketing ideas, Tero will spend a considerable amount of time going over his “third party marketing”, what to do, and what not to do. Third party has formed the backbone of Tero’s business since 1999 – it enables him to control and forecast both his work and cash flows.
- Where does the Sales process start, how do you set up a sales room, and even going through step-by-step what happens in the sales appointment, what are the tools Tero uses and what are his systems. There will be time to ask the questions.

______________________Here’s what previous workshop attendees had to say …
The seminar was really awesome and the hospitality equally. I got a lot out of the 3rd party and could easily see the potential of the system.
It’s great to see people like Tero and yourself doing so well at something that you guys love.
It was also great just to catch up with other photographers and see what everyone is doing.
If you have another seminar next year I will probably come down again if anything just for the fresh air, fresh ideas and the food which was excellent and an extended stay....

Thanks you all for a great three days! I got so much out of your course and am determined to implement new strategies into my business practices. The structure, content and not to mention the food was all fabulous! The long days just flew by. The course was amazing for highlighting to me where I am going wrong but just as importantly, where I am on the right track. I loved it!! Thank you so much!
